We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Infrastructure and Cyber Security to lead our organization’s infrastructure operations and security posture. This individual will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring robust protection of systems, networks, and data against evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in managing infrastructure projects while safeguarding the company from cyber risks. The VP of Infrastructure and Cyber Security will collaborate with senior leadership to align initiatives with business objectives, drive innovation, and support organizational growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive infrastructure strategy that supports organizational goals.
Team Management: Lead and mentor an IT team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Infrastructure Oversight: Oversee network systems, data centers, cloud services, and other infrastructure components.
Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure solutions comply with industry standards and regulations for data security and privacy.
Budget Management: Manage the infrastructure budget for optimal resource allocation.
Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs to evaluate infrastructure performance, reliability, and scalability.
Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and maintain vendor relationships for high-quality services.
Disaster Recovery: Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Collaboration: Work with other technology leaders to support initiatives and project management.
Security Expertise: Deep knowledge of security architecture, vulnerability management, identity and access management, and incident response.
Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor compliance and identify potential risks, providing mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
10+ years in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
Expertise in network architecture, cloud computing, data centers, and virtualization.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001).
Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and leadership.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.

Based in Chicago with a hybrid work environment.

We offer competitive compensation, including an annual base salary range of $165,000-$200,000, and a comprehensive benefits package. Salary will depend on experience, location, and other factors. All team members are eligible for bonuses based on performance.
