Insurance Defense Attorney

Melville, NY (Remote Flexibility Available) | $100K - $150K + bonus

We’ve partnered with a growing boutique litigation firm known for its trial success, mentorship culture, and dedication to work-life balance. The firm is expanding its team and seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to manage a caseload focused on personal injury and liability matters. The environment is supportive, and the firm offers strong infrastructure for both in-office and remote attorneys.

What You’ll Do:

Handle a personal caseload of litigation matters involving insurance defense (e.g., premises liability, construction accidents, property damage, transportation accidents)

Conduct depositions, draft pleadings/motions, and appear in court as needed

Work independently while collaborating with senior attorneys for strategy and development

Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel effectively

Participate in trial prep and appellate advocacy as needed

What You’ll Need:

1+ year of experience in personal injury or insurance defense litigation

Strong communication, time management, and litigation skills

Ability to handle your own caseload with support and autonomy

Must be based in NY or within reasonable proximity for court appearances (some travel required)
