Our client is a boutique investment bank specializing in middle market M&A transactions within the business services sector and is seeking a Vice President (VP) to join its growing advisory team. This is a remote position, offering flexibility while maintaining high engagement with clients and colleagues across the globe. The ideal candidate will bring deep transaction experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for developing an industry expertise in their core market. The VP will lead deal teams and manage all aspects of M&A transactions, from origination through closing. This role involves significant client interaction, oversight of junior team members, and collaboration with senior bankers. The VP will also contribute to business development efforts and play a key role in shaping the firm's growth strategy. Key Responsibilities: Leading the execution of M&A transactions from start to finish Managing and mentoring Associates and Analysts Conducting and reviewing financial analyses, valuations, and industry research Preparing and overseeing the creation of marketing materials and client presentations Interfacing directly with client executives, buyers, and other stakeholders Supporting and participating in business development and pitch efforts Facilitating due diligence, negotiations, and transaction closings Contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance the firm's market presence Qualifications: 5-7 years of investment banking M&A experience required Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and teams in a fast-paced environment Experience in utilities, renewables, or environmental business services strongly preferred
