Labor & Employment Counsel / Managing Counsel

Overview A leading company is seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Counsel and Labor & Employment Managing Counsel (two roles with differing degrees of seniority and experience) to join its dynamic legal team. These roles will handle a wide range of employment law and labor relations matters, supporting business leaders, HR, and operations in managing risk and driving compliance.
Key Responsibilities Advise on employment law matters, including charges, complaints, investigations, and emerging issues.
Partner with HR and leadership on policies, training, and compliance initiatives.
Supervise outside counsel on labor matters, including union negotiations, grievances, and arbitrations.
Contribute to labor strategy and provide day-to-day support on wage and hour, class actions, and general employment issues.
Support broader litigation and risk management, including insurance disputes and commercial matters.
Drive proactive compliance with legal and regulatory obligations while balancing business objectives.
Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar membership (Georgia preferred).
4 - 12 years of relevant labor & employment experience at a top law firm and/or in-house.
Strong litigation and labor relations background with excellent judgment and advocacy skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
