Our team in Orange County continues to outperform and as a result continues to grow. We are currently recruiting for an outstanding staff attorney with 7+ years of experience in an advice & counsel capacity. Our L&E practice group prides itself on employing attorneys with expertise in their fields who can take ownership of matters.

Responsibilities

  • Counseling employers in areas of California and Federal employment law
  • Drafting employment agreements and policies, including employee handbooks
  • Conducting complex internal fact investigations and analysis
  • Conducting audits of employer wage and hour and HR practices
  • Self-starter who requires minimal oversight
  • Candidates with experience working in both a law firm setting and in-house roles would be preferred
  • Employment defense litigation experience would be helpful, but is not required, as this is not a litigation role

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Resume, cover letter, and law school transcript are required to apply
  • Non-partner-track Staff Attorney position
  • Based in Orange County, CA, with consideration for Century City, Del Mar, or Downtown San Diego; fully remote candidates who can come into OC as needed may be considered
  • Admitted to the California Bar

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000.
