Overview Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Manager, R&D Finance to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Data & Quantitative Sciences group. The role supports a budget exceeding $470M and serves over 700 professionals, with up to 40% remote work allowed. Responsibilities Drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Data & Quantitative Sciences group. Oversee budgeting and allocate resources in collaboration with key stakeholders to align with the organization’s mission. Design advanced financial models and tools to support strategic objectives; optimize financial systems and processes; deliver insightful reporting packages summarizing critical financial results. Strengthen external collaborations through detailed performance tracking and ad hoc reporting to guide high-impact decision-making. Contribute to shaping the financial framework of a high-value group within Takeda. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field plus 3 years of related experience. Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting with large-scale budgets; ability to support Senior Management in strategic decisions. Experience with financial systems such as IBM Cognos TM1 and SAP for analysis and data management. Ability to partner with senior leadership to develop capacity planning and resource allocation strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Proven ability to deliver insightful reporting that enables impactful decision-making and detailed performance tracking.
