Overview Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Manager, Strategic Accounts for Shockwave Medical Inc. in Boston, MA. The role develops strategically aligned relationships with customers and leads cross-functional teams to implement programs and initiatives that drive business growth. Position Overview The Manager, Strategic Account drives business growth through developing strategically aligned relationships with customers while providing leadership across customer teams and projects. Establishes and implements cost-effective, results-based, and professionally managed programs and innovative initiatives for the organization and delivers impactful business insights to solidify our competitive advantage. Essential Job Functions Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with key hospital-level stakeholders. Execute initiatives that align strategy from the IDN level to hospital/account level. Drive innovative solutions and partnerships within targeted accounts and customers. Collaborate with sales leaders and teams to identify prospects and close opportunities. Navigate VAC approval process for new products and influence VAC members. Anticipate customer needs, market evolutions, and competitive threats. Partner with cross-functional teams on strategy, marketing content, and external tactics. Manage multiple priorities to support advancing business strategies. Identify and manage relationships with influential cardiovascular interventional stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships. Measure and communicate the impact of KOL engagements to refine market access strategies. Articulate the value proposition of Shockwave Medical to Key Strategic Accounts (clinical, reimbursement, health economics, pricing). Demonstrate product knowledge and the ability to discuss clinically with physicians at a high level. Maintain ethical standards and comply with corporate policies, FDA, medical device, quality standards, and ethics. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of sales experience in medical devices (cardiovascular interventional space preferred). Sales experience in catheter technology with occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent; peripheral influence in coronary sales is a plus but not required. Working knowledge of contracting and VAC processes. Strong selling principles and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Strong judgment, time management, and resource management in a fast-paced environment. Must not be debarred by FDA for work in any Medical Device business. Valid driver’s license; ability to travel up to 50% domestically. Ability to work independently or as part of a team and adapt to changing requirements. Physical requirement: prolonged sitting for extended periods may occur. Pay and Benefits The base pay range for this position is $91,000 - $165,000. Eligible for a sales incentive compensation program; eligibility per plan terms. Car allowance through the Company’s Fleet program.
