Primary Purpose
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Lead a team by providing strategic marketing campaign development, planning and execution. Provides leadership and direction in the development of direct marketing stakeholder engagement campaigns. Assure the focus and attainment of business goals and objectives through the use and interpretation of a wide set of insights and analytics. Develop and maintain an environment that promotes diversity, accountability and fosters teamwork. Establish, promote and maintain a safe work environment. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Primary Duties
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1 Development of team goals, marketing strategies, business cases marketing and promotional plans to support core product/program portfolio, reliability and customer satisfaction.
2 Oversees the implementation of product/program plans, promotional activities, vendor and
channel management to meet the needs of customers (internal and external). Includes budgeting for new and existing program/service launches and long range planning to maximize effectiveness of spend
3 Ongoing evaluation of current portfolio of products/services to ensure alignment with the
company’s short- and long-term goals.
4 Develop and enhance the relationship with external and internal clients in order to achieve corporate goals.
5 Create and sustain an environment that fosters Exelon’s corporate values. Drive continuous
improvement in quality and productivity of employees through the Performance Management Process. Counsel, develop, direct, evaluate and instruct employees.
Job Scope
JOB SCOPE
Plan, manage, prioritize, provide oversight and lead the activities of the business team. This includes responsibility for driving O&M savings, budget, personnel, business plans and overall team performance.
Daily department responsibility and oversight of professionals. Provide oversight to marketing and promotional plans.
Provide comprehensive leadership to cross-functional teams to support corporate, departmental and business unit goals. Interaction with executives, outside service providers and the external agencies
Financial: Manage multiple vendor and project budgets on a monthly basis to include forecasting, accruals and year end target planning.
Work is diversified and complex in nature. The position requires an understanding and application of marketing principles, such as product/ campaign management by customer segment, database management and segmentation strategy, and channel strategy, new product development, market research and financial and operational imperatives. In addition, understanding the regulatory, financial and legal implications as part of the decision-making process and the potential impacts on operations.
Impact on day-to-day operations focuses mainly on realization of strategic objectives, timely and accurate implementation of marketing campaigns, with a focus on customer satisfaction while managing budget/human resources effectively to achieve goals.
External contacts include customers, vendors, regulatory and legal. Internal contacts include all levels of company management, employees and union officials.
Judgment, forward thinking, and teamwork are required.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Finance
7-10 years of external or related internal experience
Strong leadership skill
Demonstrated knowledge of product development/management, marketing, market research, pricing strategy, channel development and enhancement
Advanced written and verbal skill set
Management skills required include adeptness in leadership, ability to direct professionals and budgeting
Some travel is required.
In lieu of degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA in Marketing or equivalent
3-5 years of supervisory experience.

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $109,600.00/Yr. – $150,700.00/Yr.
