We’re looking for a meticulous and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our growing organization in managing our financial systems. This role requires expertise in DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) regulations. You’ll be instrumental in setting up QuickBooks accounts for our primary and two affiliated companies.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain QuickBooks Online accounts for multiple entities (one primary and two affiliates).
  • Ensure all accounting processes adhere to DCAA guidelines.
  • Handle routine bookkeeping activities, including transaction recording, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements, assist with audits, and maintain well-organized records.
  • Recommend improvements to streamline financial operations.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of DCAA requirements.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, especially in account setup and management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Must be located in Houston, TX (remote work).
