Job Details

We’re looking to bring on a Patent Attorney with a strong background in software and computer science to join our growing IP team. If you enjoy working with cutting-edge tech companies and translating innovation into strategic patent protection, this is a great fit.

What you’ll do

Draft and prosecute patent applications in technologies such as operating systems, cloud computing, network management, directory servers, and middleware software.

Collaborate closely with inventors and engineering teams to capture and articulate inventive concepts.

Navigate the patent process from initial disclosure through filing, prosecution, and allowance.

Contribute to overall IP strategy, helping clients build strong and valuable patent portfolios.

What we’re looking for

2–6 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution, ideally within a law firm or in-house legal department.

A Computer Science or Electrical Engineering degree, with hands-on software development experience.

Admission to the USPTO is required; bar admission in at least one state preferred.

Clear communication skills and a client-focused, detail-oriented approach.
