Perkins Coie is seeking technical advisors to join its growing Patent Prosecution practice. Candidates are required to have a degree in mechanical engineering, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar degrees, as well as strong academic credentials and excellent references. We are seeking candidates who are interested in becoming patent agents and available to work full-time beginning in June of 2026 when our program begins. Responsibilities Draft and prosecute patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Work side-by-side with attorneys and other legal personnel to develop legal skills from day one. Qualifications Degree in mechanical engineering, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar technical field. Strong academic credentials and excellent references. Interest in becoming a patent agent and availability to start full-time in June 2026.
