A reputable law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Trial Attorney to represent clients in personal injury cases. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, professional environment while advocating for injured individuals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation and courtroom experience. This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office each week with flexibility to work remotely on certain days.
Location:
Duties:
Draft and submit legal documents related to litigation, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
Represent clients in trials held in District and Circuit Courts across Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Maintain open communication with clients and provide clear guidance throughout legal proceedings
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Maryland Personal Injury law to manage cases effectively
Manage a substantial caseload and demonstrate leadership skills in case management
Develop litigation strategies and oversee the discovery process to support case development
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney, specifically in Maryland
At least 2 years of trial courtroom experience
Passion for courtroom work and advocacy for clients
Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to client interactions
Commitment to achieving the best results for clients
Ability to work a 40-hour week, with a minimum of 3 days in the office and 1-2 days hybrid
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active Bar membership in Maryland
Skills:
Strong litigation and trial experience in personal injury law
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritize a substantial caseload
Leadership and organizational skills for overseeing case development and strategy
Deep understanding of Maryland Personal Injury law and legal procedures
Interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and manage expectations
