Overview Tenstorrent is seeking an experienced Senior Power Analysis Engineer to drive power-efficient SoC designs across our family of CPU and AI products. This role spans the entire product lifecycle—from early architecture estimation through post-silicon optimization—ensuring industry-leading performance per watt. This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX, or Fort Collins, CO. We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. Responsibilities With oversight across the product lifecycle, contribute to architecture estimation, RTL power modeling, pre-silicon power analysis, post-silicon power validation, and power-performance optimization for Tenstorrent's CPU and AI products. Qualifications MS/PhD in EE/CE with 5-7+ years of SoC power analysis and optimization experience. Proven expertise with PowerArtist and PrimePower for accurate power analysis and correlation. Strong background in power modeling, budgeting, and PPA tradeoff analysis at RTL and system levels. Proficiency in Python/scripting and experience applying data analysis frameworks to power optimization. A power optimization expert with deep experience across the entire SoC lifecycle, from architecture to silicon. Data-driven approach and ability to leverage AI/ML techniques to enhance power modeling. Collaborative problem-solver who partners effectively with cross-functional teams to drive power-aware decisions. Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets.
