You are a Principal Consultant - Cloud & IT Infrastructure who will be responsible for strategic planning, technical expertise, and client management, with a strong focus on leading the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud and IT infrastructure solutions.

The Opportunity Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and IT needs.
Provide high-level strategic advice on cloud and IT infrastructure solutions, helping clients align their technology strategies with business goals.
Lead workshops, presentations, and discussions to explain cloud and infrastructure concepts, best practices, and opportunities for optimization.
Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud and IT infrastructure solutions based on client requirements.
Evaluate various cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure technologies, recommending the best solutions for the client’s environment.
Ensure the designed infrastructure aligns with industry best practices, governance, and compliance standards.
Support the CIS Pre-Sales team in the pre-sales phase, responding to RFPs and delivering presentations to potential clients on the value of workplace solutions.
Lead the proposal defense presentation, work closely with the CIS Pre-Sales team and Sales teams. Lead the preparation of presentation decks, coach and mentor the SMEs and team to present in front of the customer and win the deal.
Drive business growth: Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and help generate new leads by showcasing the business value of digital workplace solutions.
Lead workshops and demonstrations that showcase the benefits of proposed workplace solutions, helping clients envision the impact on productivity, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
Collaborate with business development teams to identify opportunities for new workplace projects, particularly in organizations undergoing digital transformation.
Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and other consultants in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and technical staff, helping to grow their skills and expertise.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cloud technologies, IT infrastructure, and related innovations.
Identify new tools, platforms, or methodologies that can enhance infrastructure performance, security, and scalability.
Provide thought leadership by publishing white papers, blogs, or speaking at conferences.
Help clients optimize their infrastructure costs by recommending cost-effective cloud architectures and resource management strategies.
Conduct regular assessments of existing cloud and on-premises infrastructure for efficiency, performance, and cost optimization opportunities.
Assess and mitigate security and compliance risks related to cloud infrastructure and data management.
Ensure that cloud deployments are secure, resilient, and compliant with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Support business development efforts by identifying potential opportunities for cloud and IT infrastructure projects.
Participate in sales presentations, proposal development, and client negotiations.
Help with the development of service offerings, tools, and accelerators to improve consulting engagements.
You Will Need Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and consulting roles.
Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud and IT infrastructure solutions on-premise and AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
Expertise in hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, data centre technologies, networking, virtualization, and automation.
In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
Proven ability to lead large-scale projects and teams, including managing senior stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions, technical documentation, and presentations.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language for non-technical stakeholders.
Significant experience in a consulting or client-facing role, ideally with a focus on cloud transformation or IT infrastructure.
A deep understanding of the IT consulting lifecycle, from pre-sales to post-delivery support.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage ambiguity in complex client environments.
Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
IT infrastructure certifications like VMware, Cisco, or CompTIA Network+ may be advantageous.
Security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are a plus.
Proven track record of successful cloud and infrastructure projects across various industries.
Compensation and Benefits Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $181,000 to $272,000
