Overview GFT is seeking a Principal GIS Consultant to support a wide range of geospatial projects. This role follows a hybrid work model, or can be fully remote. What You Will Do Working on the geospatial team offers opportunities to harness the latest geospatial technology and data analytics to drive operational efficiency and innovation. You will collaborate on projects that enhance data management and provide actionable insights for diverse clients, transforming how organizations use data to meet their goals. Responsibilities Architect efficient solutions and Enterprise GIS environments to meet client requirements Participate in client meetings and demos of developed tools Help or lead the design of GIS applications and toolsets Implement GIS applications and toolsets, including ArcGIS Online and Enterprise Dashboard development for data analysis and situational awareness Configure and deploy field collection apps (Survey123, Field Maps) Configure Esri Experience Builder Develop processes and data automation via scripting ArcGIS Enterprise Management Create and manage Enterprise Geodatabases What You’ll Bring To Our Firm Esri Roads and Highways Expertise Client-focused and service-oriented Excellent analytical, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills Minimum of 10+ years of GIS ESRI software experience, including: Use and management of ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online Administration and configuration of ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Hub, Datastore Configuration and customization of Survey123, Field Maps, ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS Web App Builder, ArcGIS Experience Builder Bachelor’s degree in computer science, GIS, Geography, MIS or related field Experience creating geoprocessing services using ArcGIS Pro Model Builder and ArcGIS Pro Python Toolbox Successful deployment of configured Apps with ArcGIS Web App Builder and Experience Builder Developer editions What We Prefer You Bring 10+ years of experience in GIS and in Transportation Esri Pipeline Referencing Expertise Python development and ArcGIS API for Python / ArcPy Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server geodatabase management and SQL querying in multi-environment setups (Dev, Test, Prod) ArcGIS Enterprise installation and setup Scheduling tasks for data ingestion and normalization with Python Understanding of AGOL/Enterprise app JSON and XML Implementing custom widgets/themes in ArcGIS Web App Builder or Experience Builder Developer editions Troubleshooting and data optimization via ArcGIS Server Manager and Monitor General knowledge of deploying and troubleshooting standalone applications to IIS Understanding of other geodatabase platforms including PostgreSQL + PostGIS Compensation The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
