As a Principal Network Advisory Consultant you will build deep, technical, consultative relationships with our business customers and become a trusted advisor. You have a strong technical background and a proven track record of leading design and transformation engagements. You will work closely with sales teams, technology partners and product managers to identify, scope, and deliver opportunities for network technologies to solve our customer's most pressing business challenges.
Responsibilities Understanding customer's business challenges, IT team structure, and network environment.
Designing the right package of solutions to meet the customer's need.
Working with our intake, quoting, and contracting teams to develop level of effort.
Building partnership with key OEMs and TPVs, and staying current on enterprise networking trends and technology advancements.
Supporting customer and sales facing briefings and EBCs.
Delivering billable engagements including network audits, network assessments, and technology transformation leadership engagements.
Supporting large network transformation RFP responses in partnership with Sales, Bid Management, and Professional Services Intake teams.
Communicating directly with customers to explain the technical validity and value of our services and proposed approach.

\u00A0You\u2019ll need to have:
Bachelor\'s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Sold, designed, or consulted on technical enterprise business solutions.
Willingness to travel.
Strong soft skills including problem solving under pressure, communication, working in a team environment, and analytical skills.
Experience with at least 3 of the following: SDWAN technologies and solutions, WAN optimization, Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi, Private 5G), datacenter technologies (load balancers, datacenter switching, etc.), virtualization technologies and concepts (Hypervisors, orchestration, software defined datacenter, NFV, etc.), security appliances and concepts (firewalls, IPS/IDS, identity management, access controls, etc.), networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSFP, etc.), cloud-based platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google cloud and their networking services.
Even better if you have:
Master\'s degree in engineering, computer science or other technical discipline.
Expert-level industry certifications within the network engineering field such as CCIE (full), JNCIE (full), or equivalent
Ability to clearly explain/whiteboard complex technical concepts to varied audiences (CTO to Manager)
Demonstrated expertise in network design - ability to lead a design-related discussion with leading questions to fully vet a customer\'s requirements and develop a proposal fulfilling said requirements, identify potential impacts of a given design recommendation, knowledge of other technologies and their network requirements/impact, ability to produce comprehensive yet understandable technical documentation (design document, diagrams, assessment reports, etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge of, and interest in, emerging technologies such as Big Data analytics, business intelligence, IoT, SDN, network slicing, etc.
Demonstrated expertise in correlating business drivers and needs (financial drivers, impacts, and restrictions) into proposed technical solutions
Experience with network management and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Net brain, etc.) for use in discovery, assessment, and network tuning.
Be results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency. Be proactive and flexible.
Where you\'ll be working In this hybrid role, you\'ll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
