About the Role We are looking for a hardworking, innovative and collaborative Payroll Consultant to join our team. In this role you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday Payroll solution with customers through product and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience implementing or supporting payroll systems, requirements capture, configuration, data conversion, and testing. You should be detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented and able to partner with customers and your project team. Be ready to be challenged and have fun! Master Workday US Payroll and at least one additional Workday Payroll country
On client engagements: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, prototype configurations, assist client in testing the Workday solution
Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday
Assist the Integration team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions
Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and apply it on all client engagements
Ensure the client leverages Workday’s proven solutions
Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants
Help deliver successful project outcomes and lasting client relationships
About You Proven mentorship skills with the ability to foster individual growth and development through effective communication, constructive feedback, and goal setting are highly valued. Strong influencing skills and the ability to drive consensus and collaborate with stakeholders are crucial. Basic Qualifications: Senior Payroll Functional Consultant 5+ years experience implementing Payroll solutions
Consulting experience with a consulting/software company required
Experience implementing Workday or similar applications
Basic Qualifications: Principal Payroll Functional Consultant 10+ years experience implementing Payroll solutions
Consulting experience with a consulting/software company required
Experience implementing Workday or similar applications
Other Qualifications Functional experience - Workday US Payroll
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences
Strong industry knowledge, staying current with trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments to contribute to planning, risk management, and opportunities
Proven mentorship skills, with effective communication and goal setting, are highly valued
Comprehensive product knowledge and understanding of product features, benefits, applications, and market positioning
Exceptional relationship management skills with clients, partners, and colleagues
Ability to gather and analyze requirements to ensure project clarity
Proven project management experience and a focus on customer service
Strong solutions design skills to address business challenges
Experience in strategic business consulting to drive growth and performance
Excellent task management and prioritization skills
Exceptional teamwork and collaboration abilities
Excellent time management and workload prioritization
Experience deploying multiple implementation projects simultaneously is a plus
Bachelor\'s degree or relevant experience
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Chicago; Primary Location Base Pay Range: $147,400 - $221,100; Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $133,300 - $236,800 Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we blend in-person time and remote work.
