Principal Professional Services Consultant Join to apply for the Principal Professional Services Consultant role at Sage.
Overview In this Global Technical Enablement role, the employee will have a passion for software technology, willingness to expand current technical and functional knowledge, and maintain expert-status in a fast-moving environment. The employee must be self-motivated with a pro-active/ can-do approach, possessing an excellent understanding of complex technical activities and deep knowledge of the Sage Intacct application. This role is part of the North American Technical Enablement team and works across global geographies to share knowledge, ideas, solutions and guidance as needed. The NA-based role provides technical expertise, product enablement, escalation support, pre-sales advice and support, and supports project delivery processes/methodology, collaborating with Sage Intacct community. It will involve working with sales, customer support and account executives to support partners in sales, support and implementation, and identifying billable opportunities. Focus on customer satisfaction and high NPS scores from partners. This is a hybrid role: 3 days per week onsite in Atlanta office.
Responsibilities Provide expert guidance on technical functionality and participate in partner/customer projects
Run technical workshops for partners and colleagues
Utilize and maintain a delivery methodology and assist with escalations as needed
Collaborate with sales, customer support and account executives to support partners in sales, support and implementation
Identify billable opportunities during partner engagements
Maintain thorough technical knowledge of Sage Intacct via formal education, training and self-study
Deliver technical workshops and enablement sessions
Provide second-line technical implementation support for partners
Create and maintain delivery documentation
Share best practice recommendations with Partners and Customers
Provide input to Sage Product Development and Product Management as appropriate
Qualifications 5 years of professional experience delivering software solutions
Ability to digest complex technical information and translate it into clear, concise content
Strong analytical and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Mentoring and coaching skills for knowledge dissemination
Relationship management and escalation handling skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline
Industry-recognized certifications for the functional area of expertise
Programming knowledge of integration, design and implementation
Knowledge of database and application infrastructure design
Knowledge of performance management trouble shooting techniques
