Critical Services Group (CSG) is a private equity firm focused on acquiring and building mission-critical B2B services companies —from business jet maintenance providers to elevator maintenance. The Role
We’re hiring a high-performing dealmaker who’s excited to both hunt and close. You’ll lead outbound efforts to identify and connect with business owners—and then drive the relationship all the way to a signed LOI.
This is an externally facing role with real autonomy and visibility. You’ll be the tip of the spear: responsible for initiating contact, managing founder relationships, crafting compelling deal narratives, and negotiating terms with support from the CSG partners.
You’ll work directly with our CEO and investment team to shape the way we build relationships and close founder-led deals.
What You’ll Do
Own founder conversations from first outreach through signed LOI
Research and map high-potential targets in regulated, essential services verticals
Develop and execute strategic outbound campaigns via cold calls, cold emails, and LinkedIn
Build trust with business owners, uncover motivations, and guide them through a thoughtful sale process
Lead valuation discussions, structure offers, and handle objections in collaboration with CSG’s partners
Maintain organized pipelines and outreach metrics using modern CRM and sales tools
Collaborate with the sourcing team to optimize messaging, targeting, and conversion rates
What You Bring
2+ years of outbound SDR or BDR experience, preferably in B2B services, private wealth management, fundraising, or private equity deal sourcing
Eager to do high volume of cold calls and outbound emails
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for crafting compelling outreach to business owners
Strong research instincts—you know how to dig in and find the right targets
Grit, humility, and hunger: you’re energized by rejection, eager to improve, and excited to help build something from the ground up
Experience with tools like Salesforce, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or Outreach is a plus
Bonus if you also have:
3–6+ years of experience in private equity, ETA, search funds, or independent sponsor models
Direct experience driving founder conversations through to signed LOIs
Familiarity with small business deal structures and owner psychology

Location & Schedule
Preference for Boston or Miami-based candidates (hybrid or onsite), but we are open to remote for exceptional talent .
