Global Real Estate (GRE) is an enabler of the business, strategically partnering with all Verizon Teams to ensure success in meeting current needs and future goals. The GRE organization operates over 100 million square feet of real estate worldwide with an annual energy budget of over $1B.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the development and execution of the Global Real Estate team’s long-term strategic plan, aligning real estate objectives with Verizon’s business and network strategy.
- Identify and analyze existing business processes to find opportunities for improvement, driving efficiency, cost reduction, and operational effectiveness.
- Design and implement operational frameworks, workflows, and governance models to execute the strategic plan and ensure seamless operations across functions.
- Define, track, and report on KPIs to measure success of strategic initiatives and operational improvements, providing data-driven insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in finance, legal, network operations, and other units to secure resources and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Champion change management for new processes and initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption across the organization.
- Work with Project Engineers, GRE Facility Managers, Network Operations, Network Engineering, Sourcing and Legal to deliver projects across programs.

Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an MBA or Master’s program with focus in STEM, Business, or related field; completion date between December 2025 and June 2026.
- Specific requirement: 4+ years of progressive responsibility in business, operations, CS, engineering, information systems, construction/project management, or related field.
- Willingness to travel and work at a Verizon Hub.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical skills.
- Experience engaging and influencing functional leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience in strategic projects and change management, ability to manage multiple projects.
- Motivated, results-driven with excellent communication skills.
Compensation and location
The starting salary for this position is $165,000 annually for a full-time schedule. This is a hybrid role with work-from-home and in-office days as determined by the manager. Minimum three days per week in the office; relocation assistance may be available depending on location.

Hybrid role with defined work location and compliant with Verizon hybrid policies. Possible Verizon Hubs: Basking Ridge, NJ; Manhattan, NYC; Irving, TX; Alpharetta, GA; Ashburn, VA; Boston, MA; Cary, NC; Irvine, CA; Lake Mary, FL.
