Overview Regional Sales Director (West Coast) – Healthtech at Carex Consulting Group. Remote in Palo Alto, California with regional responsibilities across the West Coast. W2 only, no C2C, must be authorized to work in the US (both now and in the future).
Carex is partnering with an exciting, high-growth healthtech startup as they add a Regional Sales Director (West Coast) , who will report to the VP of Sales. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base within your designated region. You will leverage your expertise in healthcare technology sales, particularly in EHR-integrated SaaS solutions, to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, identify new business opportunities, and ensure the successful adoption of our AI-driven enterprise precision care platform.
What You'll Do Sales Strategy and Execution to win “Net New Health System Logos”
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional revenue goals
Identify and prioritize target accounts and sales opportunities within the region
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Sell recurring ARR SaaS model enterprise deals into the primary care or ambulatory market at large health systems
Understand and develop strong sales pitches, ROI, and value propositions that resonate with CMOs, CMIOs, and CFOs of large health systems
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including healthcare executives, IT leaders, and clinical staff
Conduct enterprise platform related presentations and product demonstrations aligned with physician and IT leader priorities
Business Development to proactively fill the upstream sales pipeline
Generate new leads through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and execute lead generation campaigns and promotional activities
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to represent the company and build brand awareness
Sales Process Management
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline, and forecast revenue
Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management
Team Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with company objectives
Provide field feedback to help improve product offerings and sales strategies
What You'll Bring Must-have Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in healthcare technology sales, with a focus on EHR-integrated SaaS solutions
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding net-new sales targets for products used by clinicians and purchased by CMOs/CMIOs and CFOs
Experience selling multi-year enterprise deals to large health systems
Strong understanding of ambulatory or primary care segments and clinical workflows
Skills and Knowledge (preferred)
Experience working for a fast-paced high-growth private company
Ability to sell to CIOs of large IDNs
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
Attributes

Willingness to travel within the region as needed
