Department Overview This opportunity is in the Client Engagement department, which engages internally with our business stakeholders and externally with our brokers, policyholders, and TPA clients. Our goal is to drive strategic partnerships, enhance client relationships, and optimize account management strategies to expand market presence, strengthen client retention, and foster long-term business relationships that contribute to revenue growth and operational excellence focused on the voice of the customer.
Role Description As Director of Revenue Optimization and Strategic Engagement, you will lead growth initiatives at a strategic level, collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, and Client Engagement teams. Your responsibilities include aligning revenue strategies with organizational goals, utilizing data-driven insights and customer segmentation to identify opportunities, overseeing the entire customer journey, optimizing broker relationships, and leading process improvements to ensure superior client experiences. You will also champion the adoption of advanced technologies like Salesforce and predictive analytics platforms, working closely with leaders in Finance, Product, Underwriting, and Marketing. This role is ideal for someone passionate about scalable growth, operational excellence, and making a significant impact.
Responsibilities Revenue Strategy & Planning Partner with key stakeholders to design and implement growth strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Evaluate revenue performance through KPIs, forecasts, and customer segmentation insights.
Identify and prioritize high-impact revenue opportunities across customer and distribution channels.
Process Optimization Map and refine the entire customer journey—from lead acquisition through servicing and renewal.
Standardize workflows across brokers, sales, and retention teams to improve operational efficiency.
Translate market and product data into insights that inform strategic engagement and distribution strategies.
Analytics & Performance Build and maintain strategic broker relationships to enhance distribution success and gather market intelligence.
Lead the development of dashboards, predictive models, and reporting tools to monitor performance and customer engagement.
Champion the adoption of technologies that support sales effectiveness and customer success.
Technology & Tools Oversee the integration and effective use of platforms such as Salesforce, AMS systems, and marketing automation tools.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless data flow and tool functionality.
Promote user adoption of RevOps systems and platforms both internally and externally.
Cross-Functional Leadership Work closely with partners in Finance, Product, Underwriting, and Marketing to align on strategic priorities.
Lead a high-performing Revenue Optimization team focused on insight-driven engagement.
Support product development and market research from a revenue optimization perspective.
Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree in Business, Economics, or Analytics is preferred.
Required Qualifications Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week from one of the specified office locations (St. Louis, MO; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Dallas, TX; Atlanta/Alpharetta, GA).
10+ years of experience in revenue management, sales operations, analytics, or strategic engagement.
Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, and data visualization techniques.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience in Revenue Optimization.
Experience in commercial insurance or distribution strategy.
