The Sales Director- North Central will sell a comprehensive TDIR solution spanning Graylog Operations, Graylog Cloud, Graylog Security, and Graylog API Security, addressing critical issues in enterprise IT environments. You will cover accounts in the North Central region and leverage the brand of an open-source solution embedded in IT systems globally. The role reports to the AVP of North America Sales in the US.
Responsibilities Manage the sales cycle from qualified lead to customer for all opportunities in the assigned territory
Identify key accounts, critical contacts within the accounts, the incumbent technology, and the strongest partner relationship
Establish and build a channel community as a prospecting mechanism
Identify current objections (price, product, competition, political factors) up front in the process
Break down a procurement cycle from start to finish, step by step
Utilize all systems to identify contacts, forecasting, pipeline management, and leverage reports to drive business; create quotes
Develop a deep understanding of product capabilities and value proposition; implement territory and account management and development; identify high-potential accounts and forecast timelines to close
Prepare standard quotations and proposal information; work with other departments to create and finalize contracts
Assume a consultative role in technical discussions; apply solutions-selling methodology and strategic concepts
A little bit about you Thorough experience selling ROI-driven networking/security solutions or Enterprise Software to C-level decision-makers; experience in Log Management, SIEM, API Security or related security solutions is desirable
Ability to navigate large organizations to gain C-level access and trust
Track record of closing deals over six figures
Proven pipeline development methodology
Experience with 6–12 month sales cycles
Strong forecasting accuracy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Experience selling SaaS solutions to commercial customers in the region
Ability to communicate technical and business value of Graylog solutions to all stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication, strategic selling, and territory analysis skills
Based in or willing to travel to the region (Chicago, Minneapolis, Cincinnati or surrounding areas) with travel up to 25% as needed
