I am currently working with a reputable regional law firm , who are actively looking to recruit an attorney who specializes in Corporate (M&A) to join their office in the Chicago suburbs . Key Responsibilities: Conducting in-depth analysis, due diligence, and valuation of potential M&A targets. Managing the end-to-end M&A process, including negotiations, deal structuring, and integration planning. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external advisors to ensure smooth execution of transactions. You will work in a high-volume M&A practice, who focus on both the buy-side and the sell-side of transactions. You will represent both strategic clients and financial sponsors. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar of Illinois. 6+ years of experience in corporate law. Strong research, writing, and communication skills. Book of portable business is highly beneficial. Competitive compensation packages and bonuses.
