This position is responsible for developing and implementing a robust tax framework that facilitates international expansion, optimizes intellectual property structures, and ensures regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions. We are looking for a strategic, hands-on, and technically proficient Senior Director who will transform, guide and mentor the global tax team, work collaboratively with business and finance leadership, and provide expert tax counsel. **What you will do:**Global Tax Strategy & Expansion· Lead the development and execution of Intapp’s global tax strategy, focusing on cross-border structures, transfer pricing arrangements, intercompany arrangements, and international operations.· Design tax-efficient structures to support new markets, global growth initiatives, and strategic partnerships.· Drive planning and execution for intellectual property strategy, including ownership, licensing, and intercompany arrangements to optimize tax and business outcomes.· Monitor global tax developments and assess impacts on business operations, ensuring proactive compliance and strategic planning.· Advise on tax structuring and implications for mergers, acquisitions, investments and other strategic transactions, including pre-acquisition due diligence and structuring and post-acquisition work such as valuation, integration, IP migrations and sales tax liability remediation.· Advise on legal entity restructuring and other strategic corporate initiatives.Tax Compliance & Reporting· Oversee U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax compliance, including indirect taxes such as VAT, GST, and sales tax.· Own the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision process, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness.· Implement process improvements and leverage technology to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control in global tax operations.Leadership & Collaboration· Provide strategic oversight and guidance to the global tax team, while mentoring and developing team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.· Serve as a key advisor to executives and business leaders on strategic initiatives, treasury, and IP-related tax matters.· Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities worldwide.Governance & Risk Management· Maintain robust governance, documentation, and defense strategies for global tax compliance.· Identify, assess, and mitigate global tax risks, ensuring alignment with evolving international regulations and best practices. **What you will need:**· 15–20 years of progressive tax experience, including leadership roles in multinational corporations and/or Big 4 advisory firms.· Deep technical expertise in U.S. federal taxation, international tax planning, intellectual property strategy, and ASC 740 accounting.· Proven experience structuring international entities, managing transfer pricing, and supporting global expansion.· Experience supporting tax structuring and diligence for mergers and acquisitions activity.· Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills for guiding high-performing teams.· Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of translating complex tax matters into actionable business guidance.· CPA and/or JD/LL.M. in Taxation strongly preferred; public company experience required. **What you’ll gain at Intapp:** At Intapp, you’ll get the opportunity to bring your talents and intellectual curiosity to create better outcomes for our people and our clients.
