Our client, a leading global asset manager with over $100B in assets under management (AUM), is seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate Product Specialist to join their dynamic team in Boston, MA. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility with both in-office and remote work.
About the Role:
As a Product Specialist, within the firm's Investor Relations arm, you will sit close to the investment team and play a key role in supporting the firm's fundraising and product development efforts. Your analytical expertise will help shape critical product decisions and drive business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver insights that inform strategic directions and enhance the firm's portfolio offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth market and product research to inform strategic decisions and optimize product offerings.
Provide analytical support to the distribution team, focusing on performance data and industry trends.
Collaborate with internal teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Monitor the performance of products, ensuring they align with client needs and market dynamics.
Assist with client communications by preparing presentations and reports.
Help refine the firm's product strategies and support ongoing product development and innovation.
Qualifications:
4-8 years of experience in a similar analytical or research-driven role, such as manager research, consulting, investment analysis, or portfolio analysis.
Strong background in data analysis, excel, or financial modeling, and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings in a clear and compelling way.
Proficiency with data analysis tools is highly preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.
A strong understanding of the asset management industry or financial markets is a plus.
