Overview Senior Manager – Digital Finance and Finance Transformation Services at Cohen & Co. We’re looking for an experienced professional to guide clients through complex transformation programs that modernize finance functions and align finance strategy with business goals. You’ll shape solutions across Finance Transformation strategy, Finance Operating Model design, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementations, and Quote-to-Cash (QTC) process improvements.
The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, solve complex problems, and balance technical expertise with strategic thinking and leadership presence. You’ll partner closely with client executives, including CFOs and finance leaders, while leading project teams, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to the growth of our practice.
Responsibilities Lead large-scale finance transformation projects: spanning process design, operating model development, and system implementation
Relationship development: serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, building strong relationships and delivering solutions that drive measurable business impact
Collaborate with teams: work with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to understand needs and define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Project management: bring structure and leading project management practices to ensure seamless execution
Thought leadership: contribute to practice perspectives around the CFO’s organization, including finance process, enterprise architecture, and existing/emerging solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness
Maintain standards: develop and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies to ensure system integrity and security
Business development: identify and cultivate new business relationships and project opportunities, supporting and leading go-to-market initiatives
Process & Technology Transformation Architect financial solutions: design and oversee the development of digital finance solutions, including ERP systems, financial planning software, and reporting
Financial knowledge: strong understanding of core finance and accounting principles, including financial reporting, budgeting, and tax
Stay current: keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in digital finance to recommend and implement new solutions
Business Process Optimization: partner with clients on end-to-end process optimization, including QTC, Procure-to-Pay (PtP), and Record-to-Report (RtR)
System and process integration: ensure seamless integration between various financial systems and other enterprise applications
Change management: ensure adoption of new systems through designing and helping clients deploy robust change management best practices
People Leadership & Collaboration Team development: share expertise to build team capabilities and support practice development
Team management: manage, mentor, and coach project team members, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment
Communication skills: excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership, with ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
Collaboration and cross-selling: collaborate across consulting disciplines to deliver integrated client-focused solutions; work across the firm on go-to-market initiatives
Thought leadership: stay current on industry trends and bring innovative ideas forward
Who You Are Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
6–8+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Consulting, or related roles
Hands-on experience managing large-scale system and process transformations
Strong knowledge of mid-market finance and accounting digital solutions (ERP, EPM, and related solutions)
Strong knowledge of financial processes, including close, consolidation, FP&A, management reporting, and QTC
Proven ability to lead end-to-end transformation projects and deliver measurable results
Proven success in building and maintaining strong client relationships
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or PMP
Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau)
Industry experience in Manufacturing & Distribution, Real Estate, and Financial Services

Experienced Hire Opportunities
Compensation Estimated Salary Range: $110,000 - $210,000
Salary details are determined based on candidate skills, experience, licensure, certifications, responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that goes beyond base compensation, including time off for community service and growth opportunities.
