Senior Manager - Finance Systems Why We Have This Role The Senior Manager of Finance Systems is responsible for overseeing the strategy, implementation, usability, stability, security, and optimization of our core financial systems landscape, including NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Stripe, Divvy, Adaptive, and more. The Senior Manager will play a key role in the implementation of new subscription billing and revenue recognition tools, in close collaboration with an implementation partner, with the Finance Systems team owning those platforms after implementation. This role will manage and develop a team of finance systems professionals, owning governance, technical support, process improvement, and the strategic implementation of new functionality to enhance our corporate technology stack, particularly in the order-to-cash lifecycle. How You’ll Find Success Maximizing the potential and fostering the growth and development of a talented team of finance systems analysts and administrators. Deeply understanding finance, accounting, and quote-to-cash business processes and objectives & owning strategic initiatives across multiple departments, including the Transformation Office. Collaborating with Finance, Sales, Operations, IT, and consultants to provide guidance on system best practices, process improvements, and innovative recommendations. Staying updated with technology trends, particularly in Finance Systems, ERP solutions, subscription management, and revenue recognition. Prioritizing user experience and adoption across all finance systems. Implementing effective change management during new system implementations and process renovations. Measuring and tracking systems performance, data integrity, and process efficiency. Staying agile and adaptable in a dynamic business environment. Continuously learning and growing, both individually and as a team leader. Working closely with Finance, the Transformation Office, and other IT leaders to align the team with a unified vision and goals. Establish and drive system roadmaps and strategic initiatives for the entire finance systems ecosystem. Things You’ll Do Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, and resolve system-related issues. Develop and execute the finance systems strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and the quote-to-cash renovation project. Mentor, coach, and train team members, fostering their growth and career progression at all levels. Oversee data security, access controls, compliance (including SOX best practices), and risk management for all finance applications. Partner closely with an implementation partner, serving as a key technical contributor throughout the design, configuration, testing, and rollout of new subscription billing and revenue recognition tools. Identify, design, standardize, simplify, and optimize business processes within and around financial systems. Develop and implement robust internal processes for system changes, testing, and deployments, aligning with SDLC and SOX compliance requirements. Manage relationships with finance system vendors and implementation partners/consultants. Determine and evaluate team capacity and bandwidth to effectively support current systems and new initiatives. Encourage and support the career growth and development of team members. What We’re Looking For On Your Resume Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Business Administration, or related field. 10+ years of progressive experience managing, supporting, and optimizing a diverse financial systems landscape, including deep expertise in finance systems with procure-to-pay, expense management, payment processing, and spend management solutions. Proven experience leading the implementation of subscription billing and/or revenue recognition systems. 5+ years of direct people management experience, with a track record of building, leading, and motivating high-performing technical teams. Strong understanding of quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report processes. Experience standardizing and simplifying complex system landscapes and business processes. Proficiency in internal processes that align with development lifecycle and SOX compliance. Experience working with external consultants. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Professional English fluency required.
