We’re recruiting for a well-funded, fast-scaling defense tech company building intelligent autonomous systems for contested environments. Following continued investment and expansion across multiple US sites, we’re now hiring a Senior Manager, Navigation & State Estimation . This role can be based in the San Diego Metro Area, Boston (MA), or Washington DC Metro Area ( onsite or hybrid preferred). You’ll lead a high-performing team of 6+ engineers developing GPS-denied navigation solutions for autonomous aerial systems. You’ll own the technical roadmap, drive engineering excellence, and guide delivery from architecture through to real-world deployment. We’re looking for candidates with: A degree in robotics, aerospace, computer science, or related fields 10+ years’ experience in autonomy, robotics, or state estimation Deep C++ expertise (C++11 or newer) Hands-on experience with sensor fusion, Kalman filters, inertial navigation, and real-world deployment A proven track record leading high-performing engineering teams Bonus points for experience with: VIO, SLAM, factor graph optimization (e.g. GTSAM, Ceres) DoD autonomy systems or operational testing environments This position offers a competitive base salary, bonus, benefits, and equity.
