The Senior Manager, Product Finance will act as a key business partner to the Product leadership team, driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing R&D investments focused on Software Experiences. This role is crucial in delivering financial insights and strategic recommendations to support new product initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business & financial goals. This role is a hybrid position, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of our Boston location. What You’ll Do Strategic Financial Partnership: Provide financial analysis and insights to Product Leadership as well as other senior leaders, guiding strategic decisions and driving impactful outcomes across all product-led initiatives. Investment Optimization: Collaborate with the Program Management teams & Opex Finance partner to evaluate current and planned investments. Recommend adjustments to align investments with business objectives and maximize ROI. Performance Measurement: Design and implement measurement methodologies for software features and experiences. Establish consistent standards for building and evaluating business cases. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, commercial, finance, and other functions to align financial strategies with company-wide objectives. Drive clear communication and effective collaboration across teams. Stakeholder Influence: Build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, balancing competing priorities to achieve alignment on financial strategies and marketing goals. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Lead financial modeling and analysis for special projects, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members by reviewing deliverables, providing constructive feedback, and fostering professional growth. What You’ll Need Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or similar field Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, investment banking, or consulting Get it right the first time mentality with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization Track record of motivating and managing a hardworking group of results-oriented professionals and taking an interest in the career development paths of your direct reports Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at using visuals to tell stories Advanced proficiency in modeling and financial analysis using tools like Excel Proactive communication style Intellectual curiosity and desire and focus on continuous improvement High integrity, self-aware, humble Positive attitude, optimism and willingness to learn Passionate about continuous process improvement and utilizing technology to automate process steps whenever possible Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of, or experience with, FP&A or accounting within a software company or consumer goods company Experience with Anaplan or other financial planning software Experience with SAP S/4HANA or Analytics for Office (AO) Experience using Tableau (data visualization tool), SQL Experience working in a public company setting with exposure to working across multiple time zones Familiarity with G-Suite products Intermediate understanding of Anaplan (forecasting software), SAP, Tableau and/or Microstrategy Be curious with the desire to focus on continuous improvement High integrity, self-aware, humble, low ego, reliable Research shows that some candidates may not apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria.
