Overview Senior Managing Director, New Business Treaty Production - Reinsurance Aon is seeking a business development professional to join our Reinsurance Team. This role focuses on producing new business, generating client opportunities, and aiding in the development of sales and marketing strategy to cultivate revenue opportunities. Location options include Chicago, NY City, Boston, Stamford/Southport, Philadelphia, Atlanta, West Palm Beach, Minneapolis, Dallas, Seattle, San Francisco, and other approved locations. Responsibilities Collaborate with broking teams across solution lines to focus on developing new business and establishing relationships with clients and prospects aligned with business targets. Identify client and prospect needs and develop innovative, cost-effective solutions. Maintain a detailed understanding of available Aon resources and map those solutions to client requirements. Achieve high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service. Cultivate and promote a team approach to internal and external business relationships. Qualifications Prior business development/sales experience in the reinsurance industry. Knowledge of insurance company financial statements to determine optimal market entry points for Aon. Outstanding interpersonal skills to interact with major clients and maintain senior-level relationships. Strong market presence within the broking industry. Entrepreneurial attitude with accountability for profitability and client satisfaction. Ability to drive teams to deliver high levels of client service, quality, and results. Proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues and suggests creative solutions. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position (U.S. applicants) is $250,000–$350,000 annually, vary by education, experience, skills, and geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in Aon’s annual bonus incentive plans in addition to base salary.
