Position Overview Autodesk is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Principal Cloud Architect to define and govern our public cloud strategy and execution. You will shape our cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security, reliability, and cost-efficiency across our products and services. Your expertise in AWS and GCP will be crucial in driving our cloud-first initiatives. Responsibilities Define and promote the overall cloud architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals. Lead architectural guidance for AWS and GCP environments, ensuring best practices and optimization. Develop reference architectures, design patterns, and standards for cloud deployment, emphasizing security and compliance. Establish cloud governance policies, security standards, and manage cost optimization initiatives. Design scalable, resilient cloud solutions supporting global operations. Collaborate on security architectures, evaluate new cloud technologies, and provide technical leadership and mentorship. Support resolution of complex cloud issues and lead during critical incidents. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years in IT infrastructure with cloud architecture experience. Deep expertise in AWS and GCP architecture and services. Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect and Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect. Ability to define and implement cloud governance and security best practices. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Additional Information This position is remote for US-based candidates, with willingness to travel for Autodesk events and meetings. Salary range : $159,100 - $257,400, with additional bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.
