Who You’ll Work With You’ll work alongside the PremiumIQ partners, leadership team, and senior consultants to shape and execute our business development strategy. In this high-impact role, you’ll help steer strategic growth efforts, collaborate with subject matter experts to understand client needs, craft compelling solutions, and ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery. About You You are a natural hunter who thrives on identifying opportunities, earning trust quickly, and closing meaningful consulting engagements. You have extensive contacts with potential buyers in the P&C insurance industry. You're passionate about data and technology and bring a consultative approach to complex sales. Your entrepreneurial mindset helps you navigate ambiguity, build strong relationships, and drive growth with confidence. You enjoy working in a nimble, senior-led team and value collaboration to win and deliver high-impact work. What You’ll Do Proactively drive the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation and outreach to closing new consulting engagements with P&C insurers and brokers. Engage senior decision-makers across Data (e.g., Chief Data Officer, Heads of Data Science, Engineering, Architecture, Governance), IT (e.g., CIO, CTO, Head of Enterprise Architecture), and Business functions (e.g., Head of Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, Marketing). Align PremiumIQ’s solutions with each client’s strategic priorities through a consultative, value-driven approach. Build and manage a qualified, forward-looking sales pipeline. Collaborate with delivery leaders to craft compelling proposals and high-impact presentations. Contribute to refining our go-to-market strategy and sales messaging based on client conversations and market feedback. What You Bring To The Team Strong hunter mindset—skilled at generating new opportunities, penetrating accounts, and building relationships from the ground up. Extensive contacts with potential buyers in the P&C insurance industry. Demonstrated success selling consulting, analytics, or technology services, ideally in early-stage or high-growth environments. Experience selling into P&C insurance markets (carriers or brokers) is preferred; experience in other data-rich, regulated industries is also valued. Proven ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with persistence and strategic focus. Knowledge of modern data platforms and ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS). Executive presence and emotional intelligence, with a consultative, relationship-driven sales style. Highly self-motivated and organized, with exceptional communication and follow-through. Must be authorized to work for any employer without requiring visa transfer/sponsorship in the future. Location and Travel: This is a remote role open to candidates across the U.S., with a preference for those based in the Greater Chicago, New York or Hartford areas.Travel up to 25% required.
