Your Impact What You’ll Do Location: Work from home as much as you want, live nearby our US R&D Hub in Seattle , so you can easily collaborate in person when helpful and be an active part of our vibrant Axon culture. Reports to: Director of Software Engineering Direct Reports: None Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performance software in this mission-critical space. Lead technical projects from concept to launch, ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements. Collaborate across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create solutions that delight our customers. Provide technical leadership and mentorship for engineers across the group. Partner with Engineering Director on strategic technical vision and direction for the group. Define and manage roadmaps for the technical backlog. Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. What You Bring Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of professional software development experience. Experience designing and delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based systems. Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores. Experience with realtime streaming event log or messaging technologies, such as Kafka or ActiveMQ. Benefits that Benefit You Competitive salary and 401k with employer match. Benefits listed may vary depending on employment nature and location. The Pay: Axon offers total compensation including base pay, bonus, and stock awards.
