A highly successful accounting firm is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Tax Manager to join our growing team. This fully remote role is ideal for a tax professional with deep expertise in S Corporation and Partnership taxation , and a strong background working across a diverse set of industries including retail, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and technology .

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of progressive tax experience , a current CPA license , and the ability to manage complex tax engagements with a strategic mindset and exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage tax compliance and advisory services for S Corporations and Partnerships across multiple industries Review and sign off on complex federal and multi-state tax returns, including Forms 1065 and 1120-S Provide strategic tax planning and structuring advice, including entity selection, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations Supervise, mentor, and develop junior tax staff and managers, fostering a high-performance team environment Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication, technical insight, and exceptional service Collaborate with partners and firm leadership to identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives

Qualifications:

Active CPA license (required) 10+ years of experience in public accounting or a tax advisory role, with a focus on S Corporations and Partnerships Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance or related field Extensive experience in tax planning and compliance across a variety of industries: retail, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and technology Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystem, UltraTax) and Microsoft Office Suite
