Tax Senior Manager - Cupertino - Salary up to $200K DOE

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate has deep tax knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering strategic client solutions.
Overview:
As a Tax Senior Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role. You’ll manage client relationships, lead strategic tax engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement
Serve as the primary advisor for key clients and provide proactive, strategic and tailored tax guidance
Cultivate long-term relationships by identifying opportunities and resolving complex tax issues
Technical Skills
Oversee preparation and review of complex returns (corporate, partnership, individual, trust, estate)
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize client outcomes
Stay on top of evolving tax laws and advise clients accordingly
Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
Lead performance reviews, training programs, and career development initiatives
Promote a high-performance, collaborative team culture
Practice Growth
Identify opportunities to expand client services
Contribute to business development efforts and strengthen client relationships
Maintain ethical and defensible tax positions across all
Qualifications:
CPA, 10+ years in public accounting, Master's in Taxation preferred
Strong technical command of federal, state, and local tax law
Proven experience leading teams and managing complex client portfolios
Excellent communication, project management, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with tax software
