Leading Property Management company is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Remote Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing . This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and executing initiatives that drive growth, maximize occupancy and retention, and strengthen the company's brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with potential clients, and creating strategies to increase revenue and market share. This is a fully remote position with travel up to 25% of the time.
Job Summary
The SVP, Sales & Marketing will lead strategic initiatives to generate leads, increase occupancy, and maximize transactions, especially in the single-family rental (SFR) market. This role combines high-level strategy with tactical execution, requiring a results-driven leader who thrives in a data-centric, performance-focused environment. You will lead a national team and manage the entire marketing and sales pipeline, reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Business Development
Develop and execute a national sales growth strategy targeting retail owners, institutional clients, and SFR / BTR portfolios.
Increase qualified lead volume by 30% year-over-year through inbound and outbound strategies.
Drive a 25% YOY increase in new client acquisitions (signed PMAs), focusing on single-family property owners.
Build and manage a national referral partner network, aiming for at least 15% of new leads from partners.
Ensure the sales team achieves a lead-to-close conversion rate of 20% or higher.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Design and implement multi-channel lead generation campaigns (SEO / SEM, paid social, display, email, retargeting).
Goal : Deliver 1,000+ marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) per month.
Optimize website and landing pages for at least a 5% conversion rate from paid campaign traffic.
Increase organic traffic by 20% YOY through content strategy, blogging, and localized SEO.
Develop campaigns targeted at single-family rental investors, aligning messaging with owner pain points and HRG's value proposition.
Reporting & Analytics
Own and report on pipeline KPIs: lead volume, MQL to SQL conversion, close rate, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and ROAS.
Maintain a dashboard for real-time visibility into lead flow, sales performance, and market trends.
Benchmark performance against industry standards and optimize campaigns to achieve at least a 4:1 ROI on marketing spend.
Budget & Vendor Management
Manage a multi-million dollar marketing and sales budget, allocating spend based on lead source performance.
Select and oversee vendors, agencies, and contractors, focusing on CPL under $75 and CAC under $300.
People Leadership
Lead, mentor, and expand a national sales and marketing team, including inside sales, digital marketing, and field reps.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, emphasizing sales metrics and campaign ROI.
Implement training programs to improve sales skills and increase individual quota attainment by 15% YOY.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Real Estate, or related field (Master's preferred).
10+ years of sales/marketing leadership, with at least 3 years in property management or real estate.
Proven ability to generate scalable leads, build high-converting funnels, and close accounts consistently.
Expertise in CRM and marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), analytics tools (GA4, Looker), and property management systems (Yardi, Propertyware, AppFolio).
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage national campaigns and collaborate cross-functionally.
