Position Summary... What you'll do... As a part of Walmart Global Tech (WGT), you'll build industry-defining reusable customer and partner-facing services and products to lead differentiated experiences and revenue sources. We cover areas such as groceries, entertainment, sporting goods, and crafts, offering extensive selections online and in-store. What You'll Do: Build and maintain high-performance apps at scale. Develop robust, maintainable, and tested code for various environments. Enhance application functionality, resiliency, usability, and security through reconfiguration and integration. Analyze requirements and existing solutions to meet stakeholder needs. Identify gaps and assess system performance and defects to improve reliability and security. Develop and improve automated tests and deployment processes. Follow best practices and contribute to their continuous improvement. What You'll Bring: Strong understanding of Android components, multithreading, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning. Experience with Android SDK, Geo fencing API, sandbox, and design systems. Advanced Kotlin skills, system and UX design knowledge. Experience with push notifications, in-app messaging, GraphQL/Apollo, build tools, static analysis, profiling tools, and scalable data ingestion. The annual salary range is $117,000 - $234,000, with potential additional compensation such as stock options. Minimum Qualifications: Option 1: Bachelor's in a related field + 2 years of experience, or Option 2: 4 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Masters in Computer Science preferred.
