Sr. Manager, DashMart - Growth Strategy & Operations About the Team We're looking for someone to help scale DoorDash's e-commerce fulfillment platform powered by dark stores, DashMart. The DashMart team is focused on building a new type of e-commerce platform, offering household essentials, groceries and local restaurant favorites to customers' doorsteps. About the Role As the Sr. Manager leading our DashMart Growth Strategy & Operations team, you will be responsible for defining, executing, and optimizing growth initiatives that provide customers with a seamless in-app experience and drive sustained order volume. You will own the end-to-end Growth strategy for our DashMart platform business; including everything from weekly volume reporting and deep-diving analyses to long-range strategic planning. Your leadership will span key levers including merchandising, promotions, shopping experience, and go-to-market initiatives. As a people leader, you will directly lead the DashMart Growth team. You will be responsible for translating high-level company objectives into an actionable roadmap, driving accountability, and ensuring your team\'s outputs deliver measurable customer impact. This role requires deep cross-functional partnership with Product, Category Management, and Operations to bring growth strategy to life. You will report to a Director in New Business Verticals and will be the primary owner of DashMart\'s volume goals, forecasting, and long-range planning. You’ll have your fingerprints all over DoorDash’s DashMart platform business, across grocery, convenience, retail, and more. You’ll do whatever it takes to launch, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to nitty-gritty operational details. Own the Core Growth Strategy: You will have end-to-end ownership of the Core DashMart growth plan, directly shaping the strategy that drives our volume goals. Drive High-Impact Initiatives: You will spearhead critical, cross-functional growth initiatives, partnering with Product, Category Management, Local Operations, and other key teams to bring strategic projects from concept to launch. Master the Levers of Growth: You will develop and deploy comprehensive strategies across merchandising, promotions, CRM, and shopping experience to acquire, engage, and retain customers. Translate Data into Action: You will oversee weekly volume reporting and re-forecasting, analyze customer trends, and conduct deep dives to uncover the key drivers of growth and inform future planning. Build for the Future: You will be responsible for the long-range planning for DashMart growth, ensuring your team’s roadmap is tightly aligned with ambitious, company-wide goals. You have 8-10+ years of experience . You’ve succeeded in high-performance cultures (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience). You have completed your BS/BA Degree. Compensation The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
