The Big Data & Analytics team at Pinterest manages end-to-end big data infrastructure, data warehousing, AB testing frameworks, and business intelligence solutions that power the business. The team oversees critical data infrastructures, including log ingestion, batch & stream processing, big data query & workflow systems, AB testing experimentation, and data processing & ETL pipelines for data warehousing and BI.
What you'll do:
Build infrastructure platforms or data processing pipelines that support Pinterest's critical business needs. Work with cutting-edge big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Airflow, and Presto.
What we're looking for:
5+ years of experience in big data infrastructure, data warehouse engineering, or business intelligence. Passion for working with data at hundreds of petabytes scale. Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python. Conference publications are a plus. Experience with big data infrastructure, data processing, ETL, reporting, or building A/B testing or ML frameworks is a bonus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
In-Office Requirement:
Work is flexible; in-person collaboration is expected 1-2 times every 6 months and can be done remotely within the country.
