Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you\u2019ll be a strategic driver of growth for our Technology department. You\u2019ll partner closely with hiring managers and Engineering Leaders to attract and engage top-tier Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Engineering Leaders, and other critical talent. You\u2019ll own the full recruiting lifecycle - from sourcing and outreach to offer negotiation and closing - while maintaining a high-touch and transparent candidate and hiring manager experience. Using data, market insights, and creative sourcing strategies, you\u2019ll help shape the future of ZipRecruiter\u2019s engineering culture and employer brand.

Key Focuses

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for technology roles
  • Be obsessed with candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and Engineering Leadership
  • Use data and metrics to inform, improve and influence hiring decisions
  • Leverage multiple sourcing strategies and channels to identify bar-raising candidates for open positions
  • Identify, engage and close top talent, including passive and active candidates
  • Screen incoming technical resumes, interview and qualify candidates, facilitate assessment exercises and advocate for candidates to hiring teams
  • Act as a consultant throughout the hiring process through your understanding of immigration, compliance, compensation, leveling guidelines, etc.
  • Partner with the TA and broader People team to streamline processes, improve tools, and deliver a seamless candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding and beyond
  • Partner with Engineering Leadership to implement recruitment initiatives that strengthen ZipRecruiter’s employer brand and Engineering culture
  • Understand and leverage ZipRecruiter products to source and hire candidates where possible

Minimum Qualifications

  • This role requires the ability and willingness to work from the Santa Monica, CA or Phoenix, AZ office on occasion
  • 4+ years of experience in full life-cycle technical recruiting and sourcing at a tech company or at a tech-focused search firm (serving technology company clients)
  • Experience with sourcing passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-Ray searches, meetups and other innovative approaches
  • Experience using key recruiting metrics and data to influence internal partners
  • Strong ability in using Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, etc.)
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS
  • Experience with Goodtime is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in full life-cycle technical recruiting and sourcing at a tech company or at a technology-focused search firm
  • Demonstrated success and delivery of highly sought after, top tier tech talent

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $77,500-$105,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations. Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
