Overview A well-respected financial services and accounting firm in Boston is looking to add a Tax Manager to its team. This person will lead sophisticated tax compliance and planning engagements for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, families, and their related entities. The Tax Manager will manage client deliverables and collaborate with internal colleagues and external advisors to ensure strategies are effective, compliant, and aligned with long-term wealth and estate planning goals. What You’ll Do Oversee preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for HNW individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and family offices Design and execute advanced tax planning strategies across income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer taxes Lead, mentor, and grow a team of tax professionals, including hiring, training, and performance oversight Collaborate with legal, accounting, finance, and investment teams on tax aspects of transactions, investments, and wealth transfer strategies Partner with outside attorneys, CPAs, and investment professionals to deliver integrated solutions and ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations Contribute to business and strategic planning, helping align tax strategy with overall family office and firm objectives What We’re Looking For CPA required Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field; advanced degree (MST, JD/LLM) preferred At least 6 years of progressive tax experience, ideally with UHNW clients in a Big Four or boutique setting In-depth knowledge of individual, trust, partnership, and estate tax issues Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team Compensation & Benefits Hybrid work model (Boston-based) Base salary up to $170K , plus bonus potential Interested candidates should send a resume directly to Kyle Archer at karcher @daleyaa.com .
