We are looking for a dynamic individual with the capacity to oversee multiple client engagements efficiently while demonstrating proficiency in business development, marketing, and recruitment efforts. Collaborate closely with Partners in an entrepreneurial environment that values exceptional client service and tax expertise. Oversee tax planning and compliance functions for ultra-high net worth individuals and their families, especially clients in financial services sectors like hedge funds and private equity. Possess comprehensive knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment, trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities. Engage directly with clients to deliver innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions. Review complex tax returns and maintain regular communication with clients. Cultivate relationships with clients, staff, and external vendors. Provide training and supervision to staff, including review and evaluation of their work. Occasional local travel may be required. Actively seek new client relationships and participate in seminars to expand networking. Stay updated on tax law changes and proactively apply new knowledge. Collaborate with other tax professionals to coordinate efforts and share knowledge. Hold yourself and team accountable for developmental goals. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent 8+ years of tax compliance experience, specializing in individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift taxation Recent Public Accounting experience CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification Preferred/Desired Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field Experience with GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software EisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
