UAT Analyst, Automation

User Acceptance Testing Team



This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Cupertino, CA or Austin, TX.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced UAT Analyst with deep expertise in automation to support end-to-end mobile application testing. This role blends hands-on test automation with front-end, back-end, and DevOps responsibilities to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality, integrated mobile experiences. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to design, execute, and maintain robust testing frameworks and contribute to overall application performance and stability.

Our Ideal Candidate

  7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or User Acceptance Testing, including 5 years in automation for end-to-end systems

  
  


• 
  

  Passion for mobile technology and integrated system validation, with a strong foundation in automation frameworks and software development

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in Python, Swift, Selenium, Appium, JavaScript, React, Postgres, and iOS automation

  
  


• 
  

  Familiar with native mobile application validation, on-device messaging, API integration, and CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins

  
  


• 
  

  Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional engineering, product, and data teams to expedite issue resolution and optimize testing coverage

  
  


• 
  

  Able to work independently, manage multiple initiatives, and balance testing priorities alongside feature and campaign launches

  
  


• 
  

  Flexible and adaptable to shifting project scopes, priorities, and release schedules

  Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail

  Experience with tools such as Charles, GIT, and automation of data analytics/reporting is a plus

  
  

Job Description

In this role, you will execute and track testing and validation efforts for mobile systems, develop automated scripts, and design test frameworks for end-to-end and on-device mobile testing. You'll partner with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to validate functionality, performance, and user experience across multiple applications.

This includes writing automated tests for iOS platforms, building UI components with React, integrating back-end services in Python, managing APIs, and ensuring data integrity in Postgres databases. You will also implement CI/CD pipelines, monitor system performance, and maintain thorough documentation of test strategies, results, and defect tracking to support timely issue resolution.

Education and Experience

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

  Background in mobile application testing, front-end and back-end development, and test automation framework design

  Preferred experience in data analytics automation, API integration, and application performance monitoring

The pay for this W-2 position is $70.00 per hour.
