Your key responsibilities
This role will tackle a range of challenges, from digital growth strategies and IT due diligence to market assessments and digital transformation, providing insights into the operations of world-renowned brands. As a Deal Tech Summer Consultant, you'll conduct analyses, synthesize findings, and manage others, while performing secondary research from various sources for strategic support. You'll execute diverse analyses, including financial modeling of digital impacts, competitor and trend analysis, and technology optimization, as well as manage deal execution governance, including KPI design and C-suite dashboard creation. You'll acquire new skills across industries, stay informed on industry news and trends to identify risks and opportunities, and build models to support deal financials for the digital function. Your role involves developing digital strategies, such as data separation and digital maturity assessments, and supporting pre-sign diligence in IT and cybersecurity for buy-side transactions. Lastly, you'll create and deliver project plans, applying effective strategies for successful transaction strategy and execution.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have
There is a predicted MBA degree from a leading business school, or a breadth and depth of equivalent and relevant work and educational experience
Proficiency in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY-Parthenon office and client sites; a driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations
Ideally, you will have
2+ years of full-time experience exemplified through a record of achievement with previous employer(s)
Outstanding academic performance, including coursework relevant to the position, such as quantitative courses in finance, mathematics, business, economics, biologic sciences, computer science or engineering
A strong interest in digital trends, data analytics and information technology stack
A strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
The ability to conduct detailed analysis (using both client data and external information) on products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities
The ability to assess complex situations and business problems to formulate potential solutions for our clients
Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot
The ability and the confidence to establish meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues
Effective organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines

The hourly pay range for this job, in the US, is $3,500 per week. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
