We are a Boston-based strategic communications, digital and creative agency focused on the biotech industry, seeking a motivated leader to run client relationships, strategy and execution for programs including corporate messaging/positioning, media strategies/media relations, social/digital media, investor communications, internal communications, scientific communications, website development and patient engagement. This role supports Ten Bridge’s commitment to an internal growth mindset for all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and guide overarching communication strategies for clients through key moments in their growth and progress including financing events and clinical trial milestones.
  • Lead account teams, oversee and execute work across multiple client accounts to plan and implement the full scope of client responsibilities.
  • Exhibit strong executive presence and a senior-level mindset across communications.
  • Identify and secure opportunities to grow existing client accounts.
  • Contribute to internal Ten Bridge initiatives, fostering learning, collaboration and positive culture.
  • Foster highly collaborative, engaged long-term client relationships.
  • Develop content for client projects, including messaging and positioning platforms, press releases, pitch materials, website copy and investor materials.
  • Cultivate ongoing media relationships, monitor industry news and trends, pitch stories, and deliver measurable benefits for clients.
  • Contribute to creative projects such as website designs and social media initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide career development for junior team members, including direct reports, through coaching and growth opportunities.
  • Raise the visibility and reinforce Ten Bridge’s positive reputation within the biotech community.

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in an agency or in-house communications leadership role focused on biotech, pharma, or healthcare. Experience in investor relations and/or investor and financial communications is preferred.
  • Passion for delivering value for clients in biotech/pharma through strategic communications.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, manage and inspire a talented staff at all levels.
  • Experience with digital communications strategies and channels.
  • Strong writing and editing abilities with aptitude for different audiences; AP style preferred.
  • Awareness of industry media and publications and experience with media outreach.
  • Ability to deliver strong client service with a sense of urgency.
  • Working knowledge of the financial regulatory and reporting environment for publicly traded biotech companies.
  • Strong understanding of the biotech industry and drug development process.
  • A creative mind that’s capable of out-of-the-box thinking.

Location, compensation & benefits

Our headquarters are in downtown Boston, MA. Boston-area employees collaborate in-office three days a week with flexibility/remote work on other days. Remote employees spend time in Boston for meetings as needed.
