Overview Location: New York City or Chicago preferred (flexibility available) Reports to: SVP, Analytics The Vice President, Analytics will be the senior-most analytics leader across a portfolio of high-profile accounts. You will set the vision for integrated measurement, unify teams across multiple lines of business, and drive innovation through advanced statistical modeling, attribution, brand equity analysis, and clean room integrations. You will combine technical depth in statistics and data science with the business acumen and presence to influence executive partners. You will orchestrate analytics across digital and offline channels, including linear TV, digital attribution, and brand health tracking, and ensure analytics delivers measurable business impact. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Define and lead integrated measurement strategies across multiple accounts, spanning marketing mix modeling, attribution, brand equity, and clean room–based approaches. Partner with senior media and account leadership to ensure analytics is a central driver of strategic planning and investment decisions. Provide thought leadership on measurement innovation, industry trends, and emerging methodologies. Analytics & Modeling Oversee advanced statistical modeling and econometric analyses to quantify marketing's impact on business outcomes. Lead high-priority ad hoc projects, such as frequency-to-brand impact studies, audience deep dives, and causal lift experiments. Drive the evolution of clean room–based analytics solutions (e.g., LiveRamp or equivalent), enabling secure, privacy-safe, cross-platform measurement. Client Engagement Be the senior-most analytics partner to executive-level partners, building trusted relationships and delivering clear, persuasive insights. Translate complex analysis into compelling narratives that connect media to both brand and performance outcomes. Champion a test-and-learn culture, guiding clients toward innovative measurement practices. Team & Operational Excellence Lead a multi-level analytics team (Directors, Managers, Analysts), setting vision, priorities, and standards for excellence. Foster team development, mentoring senior leaders while ensuring consistent quality and delivery across accounts. Lead new business efforts to enable business growth and development (new clients and existing accounts). Lead department initiatives, elevating the work, providing training, knowledge sharing, and best practices. Oversee data collection, tagging, and QA practices to safeguard accuracy and enable advanced modeling. Improve processes and workflows to scalability and consistency across engagements. Qualifications 12+ years of experience in analytics, with deep expertise in statistical modeling, econometrics, and marketing measurement. Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics or related quantitative field, required Experience managing large-scale, multi-client analytics portfolios. Proficiency in SQL and statistical programming (Python or R). Demonstrated experience with clean room technologies (LiveRamp or equivalent) and privacy-compliant measurement approaches. Knowledge of both digital and offline measurement, including attribution, MMM, and linear TV impact. Understanding of ad operations, tagging, and QA processes. Exceptional leadership, communication, and client relationship skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level. Direct experience with marketing programs for QSR/ CPG/ FMCG companies preferred Experience in data visualization solutions (Tableau, Power BI, Datorama) Experience using SQL, Python, or R to perform advanced analytics analysis Details Brand: Carat Time Type: Full time Contract Type: Permanent Employment type: Full-time Location: New York or Chicago, IL Seniority level: Executive Compensation & Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $136,000-$219,650. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
