Overview Vale Group has partnered with a financial institution based in Doral, FL , who is actively searching for an experienced VP, Commercial Portfolio Manager to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) offering a competitive salary of up to $145K base plus a 10% performance bonus , based on experience. Responsibilities Monitor and manage existing commercial lending relationships across assigned portfolios Conduct ongoing financial and credit analyses including annual and quarterly reviews Ensure compliance with loan agreements, covenants, and regulatory standards Identify early warning signs of credit deterioration and recommend appropriate risk actions Partner with Loan Officers to structure and underwrite new and renewal relationships Prepare detailed financial spreads, executive summaries, and credit packages for approval Review and interpret third-party reports, appraisals, and collateral documentation Maintain proactive communication with clients, internal teams, and senior leadership Support loan operations by ensuring up-to-date insurance and compliance documentation Track portfolio trends and recommend risk mitigation strategies Support as needed Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent experience) 7+ years of experience as a Credit Underwriter or Portfolio Manager within commercial banking Proven experience managing C&I and CRE portfolios (C&I experience preferred) Advanced knowledge of credit policy, risk management, and federal and state banking regulations Bilingual – fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) Strong analytical and financial modeling skills Excellent communication, client service, and relationship management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Moody’s, and nCino systems Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Details Seniority level: Not Applicable Employment type: Full-time Job function: Sales and Business Development Industries: Staffing and Recruiting Disclaimer: By applying to a position at Vale Group, you consent to receive SMS text messages about this or related jobs.
