Position Summary
The Vice President of Finance will work closely with the CEO, the executive leadership team (ELT), and the Board in developing and executing the Company’s growth strategy. The VP of Finance will manage all financial functions and participate in strategic decision making to enable the company to achieve growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy- Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business goals.
- Provide financial insight to support decision-making on growth initiatives, investments, and partnerships.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, KPIs, and performance analyses to stakeholders.
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support business operations.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, ideally in a growth-stage or SaaS/technology environment.
- Experience working at a private equity-backed company
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale finance operations in a high-growth company.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker with the ability to influence at all levels.
