VP Sales - Retail, Waters

The Vice President of Sales, Retail role is responsible for leading and executing sales strategies to expand Evian's presence, market share, and brand equity within the Water retail channel. This position requires a strategic leader with in-depth knowledge of the National Retail Sales channel, customer relationships, and direct-to-store distribution (DSD). Collaborating closely with distribution partners KDP and Pepsi, the role will oversee a team of four direct reports. Responsibilities include business planning, annual customer growth strategies, and daily coordination with KDP customer teams and regional offices to ensure execution standards are met. A key requirement for this role is strong relationship management skills and the ability to influence results. The position reports to the SVP, Waters. Key responsibilities include: Annual Planning: Develop internal yearly plans for KDP, Pepsi, and support the Danone Natural Team. Channel Strategy Development: Create and execute sales strategies to meet targets and grow Evian's market share in the Multi-Channel, aligning with company goals. Team Leadership: Manage a team of four, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to promote accountability and results. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, commercial, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure effective execution of sales strategies. Market Analysis: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Forecasting: Own sales forecasting and demand management for retail channels. Joint Business Planning: Lead the annual JBP process with national accounts, collaborating with KDP, Pepsi, and internal teams. Execution of AMPS strategy: Implement assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving strategies across accounts, developing supporting tools and stories. Performance Management: Analyze sales performance and recommend corrective actions. Long-term Planning: Develop demand forecasts to support precise package-level planning. Quarterly Business Reviews: Lead reviews with senior leadership and partners. Routine Communication: Conduct regular calls with KDP and internal teams to ensure alignment and priority setting. The salary range for this role is $230,000 to $280,000 annually, commensurate with experience, complemented by a performance bonus and comprehensive benefits including health coverage, 401(k), wellness programs, insurance, tuition reimbursement, flexible time off, and parental leave.
